A Warning Unto The Weary

And in the hours of the twilight dusk
I spent days at my table looking through books
And upon one day I found a tome that spoke
It spoke words to my mind and words to my soul
It was filled with glory and of memories lost
But right at the end was a warning it left
A warning for me that I have never left

There is no evil that cannot be forgiven
And no good that cannot fall
None have walked in night that cannot walk in day
And none have walked in day that cannot walk in night
But it is not of evil men that the world will burn
And not of good who will rise to heaven
For only hope can hate what it once did love
And only from sin can redemption be earned
